Here is another practical application of Ideas Blitz.
New ideas are never born perfect they always need some building or polishing.

1. Type your existing idea into the challenge — in my case it was to Launch a National Creativity Conference.
2. In the start phase try and make your initial idea 9 times better.
In my example I generated 8 ways — these are set out below:
– Have international speakers or creative people
– mix adults with kids
– make it an annual event
– involve a university and/or a level of government
– Invite a partner say a management consulting company
– make the conference cross-functional and cross discipline
– Garner PR support
– Have the audience work on a real-life problem or challenge
3. Now try to enhance each of these by tapping the + icon.
For example; Working on real-life led me to think of contacting some of the charities that i do work for and ask them for a pressing issue they would like solved.
This might be the one big challenge the conference solves or we could have a series.
We could present our best ideas at the end of the conference to the people from the charity.
This would generate PR support, a lovely feel-good factor and encourage people to work together to develop some amazing new ideas.
We all have ideas.
